I am now a Dong. Best I've looked in ages. Artifact firm installation by Song Dong at Yerba Buena Center- from their site: "The exhibition also features a selection of the artist's videos, photographs and a newly commissioned work. Collectively, the works create a longitudinal portrait of Song Dong's use of art as a way to form closer bonds with his mother and father, as well as his siblings, wife and daughter, and to express the power of the family as a social unit."
He allows patrons to merge their image with any of his family members in a video process - I, tellingly chose to be the father.

What the Hell Is That ?!?!?

These are the two types of button battery most used in my household. I bought them at the flea market because everybody knows that the hands of underfed prisoners and/or children make better batteries, because they're so small. (Yay! Olympics! Look the Other Way, USA!)



But then I noticed this:


WTF?!? I want a "Cellular phone call detector watch" Because what if I can't see hear or feel my call alerts in my actual phone?
