A robin antagonizes a house wren possibly because of egg theft/destruction. Waiting on the front step of the birdhouse, to kick some Wren butt.

OM elet (A Haiku)

a haiku:

Beads pretend they're eggs;
Robin cannot find her kids;
Budgie's egg is weird.

Raging now: How the HECK Do I like My Eggs !?!?!?!??!?!

That's right - if you're paying even ZERO attention...EGGS A LA MOE! Y'Know, where the eggs DON'T get flipped yet the chicken ass germs DON'T cause salmonella because they have SEALED OVER plus the yolks remain liquid due to heat application, owing to the fact that a lid has been applied to the pan to achieve this effect. PEOPLE- get with the program fer chrissake!!!! Note: eggs never actually act as glasses for the real Lex10 - I mean, what the hell do you think?!?!?!? They're Eggs! Ya can't see through them!!! Well, maybe the whites when they're raw, but - ew..... NOW PAY THE *&%# ATTENTION......pretty please beloved visitors......

I REPEAT: How Do I Like My Eggs!?!?!?!

How to describe Eggs a' la Moe? Perfection. Cooked only on one side, but covered for the second half of the cooking process, so that the yolk is still liquidy but all outer membranes and protein are fully cooked. Tenderly treated like a woman's love. Tenuously hanging onto that perfection, not telling the same joke over and over or attending the same activity too many times as to overcook the relationship....er, I mean eggs. Oh beautiful eggs, don't disappoint me. Then bitten into. (ho HO!!)

The idea behind it is their nearly symmetrical beauty, and untrammeled color (from not being flipped). However, if you are in the mood, you can "dirty 'em up" with red pepper flakes, cracked black pepper and dried herbs. Go ahead- you might find those eggs actually encourage you., quivering there, bulbous and glistening. Saying, "That's right! Yeah! Do it!" In fact egging YOU on.........

See my previous post on this boring friggin' subject.

The image below is, a wallpaper (with some ultra-artistic f-ing around- yeah, that's right, I could improve your personal-corporate-product image...... in fact you wish I would) as is the case so often here at the GlyphJockey blog.

Top this, Easter Decorators

This is Puffy. Puffy relentlessly produces unfertilized eggs throughout the year. We'd put her in with Chee Chee for some rubbing-up-against companionship (Chee Chee being female also) but they get pretty brutal when confined together.

Mrs. Lex10, always with an eye for thrift, decied that the eggs might be of some use, and began to collect them. Then again, perhaps she was just compelled by the fascinating phenomena.
When I say relentless, I mean relentless:

She discovered that some household pest had consumed part of the egg collection:

This had happened before with other specimens from nature that we had collected on our science shelves

We had so many eggs, and there are no images her that duplicate any individual egg, AND we threw out a bunch, that we dyed some last Easter and will probably will color more this year"

THAT image is a link to a wallpaper.

Skeptics, here is a reference image in case there is any doubt:

Hail Puffy!- Layer of teeny-tiny eggs!

Little Town

These images come from a book with the same name as this post. I bought it at a flea market or some place and owing to my parental guilt for being on the road, went over it in great detail with my tiny son. We got to see the world that is gone, yet familiar. He understood, and all my children understand.

The book is by Berta and Elmer Hadler (who knew?- a Wikipedia link.) and published by MacMillan in 1941, dedicated to Gayle. This apparently was their schtick, being Caldecott winners.

The activities happening in a small town (not unlike mine) are described with illustrations containing a plethora of visual features as accompaniment.

It's another world.

Another World, I say.

When I'm Home, How Do I like My Eggs?

Eggs a la Moe. Sunny side up but not runny is the best way to describe them. Gently cooked but not flipped. And also, not actually thrown at my face to form impromptu goggles.
